Project Overview
Curtins have 14 offices across the UK and Ireland and are at the forefront of developing new and sustainable engineering solutions across several specialisms; civils & structures, transport planning, environmental, infrastructure, geotechnical, conservation & heritage.
When Curtins approached us, we instantly knew we could help them. We visited their old, tired office and transformed the space into a modern-day functional and enticing workspace, full of agile workspaces and spaces for wellbeing.
Our brief was to create a space that considered their employee needs, whilst focusing on reusing existing materials, sustainable solutions and ESG. Topics such as neurodiversity in the workplace were part of our design process.
The end solution meets all of Curtins’ requirements and has brought their old office back to life.
We sent minimal waste to landfill. We sent their old furniture to second-hand furniture suppliers to be sent to a new home. We re-used and restored items that were still functional as it is important to us to be environmentally mindful during the building process.
