CCL provide bespoke recruitment and talent solutions across the energy, construction, manufacturing, and automotive tech sectors.
Started as a family business, CCL has grown on a global scale with 8 offices in three regions across the world. Their team of discipline-specific experts and advisors offer local and accessible workforce solutions and long-term support, combined with the resources and expertise of our global network.
CCL approached us to help them with their office refurbishment, at what was an old and very tired workspace.
Aster transformed the office into the modern day, with a complete overhaul. This included stripping back the office back to CAT A, involving structural engineers to confirm central walls blocking light in the space were not load bearing.
We then followed with entire CAT B refit of this space and completed the entire project in 8 weeks.
The dark, divided office has now been transformed into a light, open plan workspace with huge amounts of natural light now free to pass through the space.
We designed the space with agile working in mind, providing quiet spaces for prayer, open plan spaces for informal catch ups and breakout spaces to either work or take a break.
Agile furniture, new foliage, modern partitioning, kitchen and breakfast bar, are parts of the design that were heavily focused around morale. Rather than those Monday morning blues, the team are now energised and excited to come to the workplace to work in multiple ways, catch up and collaborate with colleagues and clients.
We also spent a lot of our design time scoping products and processes that make a difference to our environment.
This new office fitout is full of sustainable solutions and is game changing for the team compared to it’s original state when we first visited.
