Project Overview
When we were approached by MRT to design and build their workspace, we gladly jumped at the chance of significantly improving their previous working environment, which was small and not fit for purpose for their staff headcount.
Their new office space was very tired throughout and we have completely transformed this workspace that is now their home, into a modern workspace that will serve them well for many years to come.
Aster transformed their office into the modern day, with a complete overhaul.
The works included stripping out tired flooring and partitions, installing new finished flooring, together with modern, acoustic partitioning throughout including Crittall effect glazing. Acoustic panelling to meeting rooms in a space with a large amount of hard surfaces was high on the list of importance for practicality, with our newly installed video conferencing systems.
We designed and specified a completely new furniture installation to suit the requirements of the entire team, with custom joinery items included for showcasing their beautiful photography and artwork.
Brand was an important consideration throughout the design stage, which was reflected in the furniture items and graphics throughout the space.
Feature items such as industrial style pendants, carefully selected artwork, foliage, functional desking and decorative items were just some of the details that took a lot of design time required to make sure we delivered a highly functional and morale-boosting workplace for the entire MRT team.
We carefully considered the MRT team’s technology requirements to make sure they are now set up with all of the latest electrical and connectivity products they require to function optimally as an organisation.
The MRT team are now enjoying their working environment more than ever and we are sure this will be a significant improvement to function, practicality, morale and wellbeing in general.
